Prepare a commercial invoice for your shipment
Identify the exporter, buyer and delivery address. Describe each product clearly, then add quantities, values, country of origin and the tariff code checked for your goods. Record shipping charges and the agreed delivery terms separately.
A commercial invoice describes a shipment for customs and billing. It does not replace a certificate of origin, packing list or other documents your destination may require. Follow FedEx’s customs document guidance and confirm the final document with your carrier.
Does this calculate import duty?
No. The total adds the goods value and freight you enter. Customs valuation, duties and import taxes depend on the shipment and destination.
